Positive Youth Project
as a Volunteer
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals from all walks of life to join our team. While it’s not a requirement, we encourage and support those with lived experience or who have been affected by HIV to apply. Your unique perspective could inspire and empower young people while also shaping the future of our project. Get involved and help us create a positive impact!
About Us
ACET (AIDS Care Education and Training) Ireland is a Faith-Based Christian response to HIV in Ireland, operating a range of projects in HIV and related issues.
PYP (Positive Youth Project) is a new project that aims to provide an age-specific service to young people aged between 12 and 25 growing up living with HIV in Ireland. We want to create a space that offers support, compassion, education, and peer connection.
Peer meet-up events bring together a group of young people to connect with their peers of the same age group. The project coordinator will organise these events. The events will involve learning about HIV, discussions on various issues faced by young people living with HIV, and participation in fun activities, e.g. Cinema trips, bowling, picnics, etc.
